We sailed out of Vancouver harbour in the late afternoon ...
... watched a stunning sunset from our private balcony ...
... and cruised for the next day and a half to Juneau.
JUNEAU

| Mildenhall Glacier: This is another glacier in rapid retreat. The local ranger told us that when she arrived in Juneau in 1988 the glacier snout was near the waterfall on the right. |  |

SKAGWAY
The highlight of our stay in Skagway, was the train trip through the mountains back (briefly) into British Columbia (Canada). |  |

| Margaret took the train back to Skagway, but I rode back on a bike. We have crossed many international borders, but this is the only one that I have crossed on a bike. If you look in the background of the picture you will see the next section of road. It was mainly downhill which made for a relaxing ride. |  |

When we arrived back at Vancouver we had an extra day, which we spent at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
